Well, the reindeer are up so it must be Christmas!

So, what does January 2024 hold…?

First up, I am sneaking in a couple of “A Couple of Swells” shows with the brilliant Joe Stilgoe.

We had too much fun doing these shows earlier this year so we’re kicking off 2024 with two gorgeous shows in two gorgeous venues – The Chichester Festival Theatre in (unsurprisingly) Chichester and Acapela Studio in (almost) Cardiff.

We are filming both of these shows so if you’re in the area and want to join us BOOK NOW and be immortalised on film for ever! Tickets, I’m happy to say, are going fast and we can’t wait to get back to this uniquely musical and bonkers pairing of ours!

A SWELL(S) Fundraising Gala night

Marylebone Theatre, Friday 19 January 2024

On January 19th Joe Stilgoe and I have been asked to host a night to raise funds and profile for the lovely Marylebone Theatre in (quite literally) Marylebone. This is a great new London space which had the misfortune to open in Feb 2020 and thus has never quite got going. These small, off-West End jewels must be cherished or else, in these challenging times, we will lose them and then Joe and I will be forced to perform at the bus stop at the top of the road!

The evening will be full of music and laughter and friends: Alistair McGowan, Zeb Soanes and a clutch of other luminaries will be joining Joe and me. Tickets come with some great songs, a healthy feeling of philanthropism and the promise of a great night out in ol’ London Town.

More Fascinating Aida

And, after all of that, the girls and I will be back out on the road again and definitely coming to a theatre near you whilst also stopping off in London to perform for three nights at the London Palladium in February.

Fascinating Aida Tour dates

In Christmassy Conclusion

After a brutal but brilliant 54 date Fascinating Aida tour (it should have been 56 but RAAC closed two venues) I am taking Christmas off and taking off for Christmas. It’s been a helluva year and I’m ready to stop for a bit and regroup, ready for an exciting 2024.

So, a very merry Christmas to everyone and great love to you and yours.

See you in 2024,
Liza Xxx
